The Bible tells us in Matthew 28: 19-20, “Therefore, go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the Name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely, I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” As a church our goal is to “Renew lives and Release potential through Christ” by, Bringing people into membership in the Church;Developing people to Christ-like maturity; ... NOT JUST ANOTHER CHURCH

In the depths of our heart as a church, is a deep desire to be mightily used by God for His Kingdom purposes. Like the prophet Habakkuk, my cry to God on behalf of His church is: “LORD I have heard of your fame; I stand in awe of your deeds,
O LORD. Renew them in our day, in our time make them known; in wrath remember mercy.”
We don’t want to be “just another church.” We want God to move through us to significantly impact society for His glory.

So what are those things that will move the hand of God in His church and in our lives?
I believe certain things are essential:

1. PRAYER: No great work of God ever happens without prayer. Revivals are birthed through prayer.
Prayer shatters every satanic resistance to the move of God. It is amazing how much Jesus prayed.
We must be in continual fervent prayer because “the prayers of a righteous man are powerful
and effective.”

2. OBEDIENCE AND HOLINESS: No great move of God ever happens without obedience and holiness.
The scripture says “if a man cleanses himself…he will be an instrument for noble purposes,
made holy, useful to the Master and prepared to do any good work.” A lifestyle of obedience
engenders holiness and facilitates the move of God’s Holy Spirit. We must desire to live in
obedience and holiness. We must abhor sin with a passion. In obedience, we must be
willing to sacrifice our time, talents and treasures for His purposes. This will cause God to take notice.
